September Japaneses capitulated, Xiamen recovered, Pastor Yang Huaide left his position, Mr Lin Yi became the 8th pastor of Zhushu. At that time, many believers came back to work in Xiamen, church services restarted with many young people and faith seekers. Church employeed Mr Shen Shengyu and Mrs. Shao Youwen and her husband to take care of church affairs. |

Start refurnishing the church, found the bell which was took away before, many anonymous donated to cover unpaid maintenance costs. Gospel revived, The believers had increased to 400 people, the number of the choir increased to 60 people, 700 people attended Sunday services. 6月28日 举行迎新送旧教牧人员茶话会，欢迎陈以平先生任竹树堂会第十二任牧师、会正。谢立人先生为传道。欢送严天佑、庄肇华、许家恩、何恩及牧师和刘谦生、吴怜悯等告老退休。
8月9日 制定竹树堂会首次规章制度。
11月1日 经会友投票选举：吴天星、郭静宜、蔡来好、陈灵金、廖世荣五位执事被选为长老，郑益群、林珠瑛、黄约仁三位为候补长老。

16 February The two Christian committees accredited Chen Yiping from trinity church (Gulangyu) to became the twelfth pastor of Zhushu.
28 June A tea party was hold to welcome new pastor and sent off old pastors. It welcame Mr Chen Yiping to become the twelfth pastor of Zhushu and Mr Xie Liren as preacher. Pastor Yan Tianyou, Zhuang Zhaohua, Xu Jia’en, He Enji, and Liu Qiansheng, Wu Lianmin etc retired.
9 August Set up Zhushu church first rules and regulations
1 November Promoted five Deacons: Wu Tianxing, Guo Jingyi, Cai Laihao, Chen Lingjin, Liao Shirong to become Presbyters through election by church members. Zheng Yiqun, Lin Zhuying, Huang yueren became presbyter candidates.

14 August Pastor Chen yipping represented two Christian committees to give ordination to Pastor Yang Ruilin and he became the thirteenth pastor of Zhuzhu.

The Three-self Movement and National Day. At the meeting Pastor Yang Ruiling was announced to become a pastor of Zhushu.
